Things to Know
History:
As an archiving program, Kleio as been on the Grid for quite some time and has seen it rise to greatness under Kevin Flynn's direction before falling under Clu's rule. It was her job, along with Desmond and her fellow programs, to collect and categorize the data about Tron City for its inhabitants. A tedious task but one Kleio did without complaint... after all, it's what she does best.
But her own history is not so accessible...
Kleio continued her very uneventful existence until she met Xan, an execution program who handled with the data coming into the Archives. Kleio and Xan did not see eye-to-eye at first but a friendship blossomed between the two. In fact, she started to develop some feelings for Xan but was too shy to really say anything out of fear that it would change the dynamic of their friendship.
It all changed when the ISOs appeared. Xan was completely enthralled by them and wanted to learn more about who they were. The desire was so strong that he eventually fell in love with an ISO. Kleio never had a chance to tell him how she felt... not after the attacks on the ISOs started to happen. Then the Purge came. Kleio never saw Xan again.
Kleio closed herself off at that point. You kept your head down and your mouth shut. For a while, it kept her out of harms way but even that wouldn't last. A little while after Clu's take over of the Grid, the Archives was destroyed resulting in Kleio's deresolution by the hands of a Blackguard.
Character Notes and Permissions:
- Kleio is taken from between Betrayal and Legacy.
In her version of the Grid, Clu destroyed the Archives after having all the information backed up for his own uses.
- If there is anything that terrifies Kleio more, it's the Blackguard.
Of course, this seems to be the norm with most programs on the Grid. Needless to say, if she sees any glowing orange/red programs, she'll be running the other way.
- She hates lightcycles.
HATES THEM. Best way to really get under her circuits? Try to get her on one.
- She doesn't get out much.
She goes to the Archives, gets work done and goes back home. Repeat routine. If you want your muse to talk to her, you'll most likely find her at the Archives fiddling away with new data. But with some convincing, she might come out for a little time away from work...
- Kleio is very reserved about her past.
It's not so much that she has secrets... she has nothing to hide from anyone. She just doesn't want to remember. That's the curse of being an archiving program... her memory is so good that it's like reliving the bad memories all over again.
Romance (and general closeness): Comfort levels with hugging, kissing, flirting, circuit-touch...?
As for me, I'm cool with anything. As for Kleio... You'll need to work out some things before doing any of the above with her. Eventually, I would like Kleio to finally start opening up and be close to someone again. But, for now, any type of acceptable closeness (hugging and standing really close to her) will only be allowed to those she trusts. Otherwise, she'll just give you a very uncomfortable, slightly angry glare if anyone else tries to get too close in 'that way'.
Violence: Are you good with your character being attacked? Injured? Derezzed?
I am for all of it except derezzing... rather not go through that with her just yet...
Reprogramming: How badly can a nonfriendly screw with their code?
As long as she it can be repaired in some way, we're golden.
Viruses and corruption: Infection? Lag? Anything from Naught to Abraxas.
